Vehicle QR stickers — add your vehicle and control alerts
How the society's vehicle QR sticker works — add your vehicle, let anyone who scans it alert you without seeing your number, and turn alerts off.
Updated
Some societies put a QR sticker on residents' cars and scooters. If your vehicle blocks someone, they scan the sticker and alert you. No phone number is ever shown to anyone who scans the sticker.
Add your vehicle
- Sign in and open Vehicles.
- Press Add Vehicle.
- Type the Registration Number and the other details asked for.
- Press Add Vehicle.
Your society admin then links a printed sticker to your vehicle. Once they have, your vehicle shows its sticker.
What someone who scans sees
They see a page with your society's name and part of the number plate. They verify their own mobile number, then choose why they are alerting you: Blocking my car, Lights left on, Alarm going off, Vehicle damaged, Parked unsafely or Something else.
You get the alert on WhatsApp, if you receive WhatsApp messages, and by email. It is also kept in the app.
Turn alerts off
On your vehicle's sticker, turn off Allow scan contact. Anyone who scans it is then told the sticker is not active. Turn it on again when you want alerts back.
If you do not see a sticker
Vehicle stickers are not part of every society's plan, and your admin links each sticker by hand. If your vehicle has no sticker, ask your society's committee.
