Your privacy settings, and deleting your account

Turn off WhatsApp messages, ask for a copy of your data, or ask for your RWA Connect 360 account to be deleted — and what each one does.

Updated

Your privacy settings are about you as a person. They change nothing for anyone else in your society.

Open your privacy settings

  1. Sign in.
  2. Press Privacy at the bottom of the menu.

Stop WhatsApp messages

Under Active consents, turn off WhatsApp notifications. You see "WhatsApp notifications disabled. We'll stop sending immediately." You can turn it on again at any time.

Get a copy of your data

Under Request a copy of your data, press Request data export. Your request goes to our Grievance Officer through the grievance form.

Ask for your account to be deleted

  1. Press Delete my account.
  2. Read the box Confirm erasure request. If you like, type a Reason (optional).
  3. Press Submit erasure request.

You see "We've received your request" with a reference number, and an email confirms it.

This sends a request to our Grievance Officer. Your account is not deleted the moment you press the button, and you cannot cancel the request from the app — write to the Grievance Officer if you change your mind. What is removed, what the law makes us keep, and how long it takes are on delete your account.

Cannot sign in? The delete your account page explains how to ask by email instead.

If you are your society's only admin

Ask the RWA Connect 360 team for help first, so your society is not left without an admin.
